Merry Ploughboys Music & Dinner Show in Dublin
This show takes place in an ideal location - a pub owned and run by musicians who have been performing to audiences in Dublin since 1989.
Midway through the show, All-Ireland and World champion Irish Dancers from Dublin and beyond perform a specially commissioned show. The entertainment commences with Ireland's leading traditional Irish music group The Merry Ploughboys. The very best of fresh Irish food is served, offering a choice menu.
The Merry Ploughboys (the owners of the pub) are proud to host the longest running show in Ireland hosted by the same performers for 30 years.
COVID-19 Protocols Update - Capacity at the shows is currently unrestricted - up to 200 persons in the showroom.
Tour / Activity Details
Arrival time for dinner is between 6:30 pm and 7:15 pm. The show takes place between 8:00 pm & 10:00 pm.
24 Hours Minimum Advance Booking Required. Rates do not include hotel pick up but there may be roundtrip shuttle service available from six central Dublin locations which can be pre-arranged for a small per person fee (details on your E-Ticket). Please note that due to COVID-19 the shuttle may not be running on certain nights. Rates are per person in US dollars. There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Starters
- Goat's Cheese -- Bluebell Falls honey, thyme & garlic goats cheese, pickled baby beets, dressed organic mesculan, sourdough croute. All the dressings are home-made.
- Homemade Seafood Chowder -- A delicate blend of shellfish and seafood bound in a rich creamy velouté finished with fresh herbs and served with traditional Irish brown bread.
- Root Vegetable Soup -- Locally grown root vegetables lightly roasted and blended with a homemade vegetable stock, served with traditional Irish brown bread.
Main Courses
- Tender Irish Angus Beef -- Braised in Guinness and served with a root vegetable & rosemary jus.
- Fillet of Irish Sea Trout (served off the bone) -- topped with a dill and lemon crust, with poached asparagus and a white wine & lemon butter sauce.
- Supreme of Free Range Limerick Chicken -- served with an Irish herb potato cake, sauce Florentine, cherry tomato.
- Shank of Lamb -- Tender shank of Wicklow lamb, slow cooked in a rich lamb stock, with a red wine and rosemary jus.
Dessert
- Apple Pie -- Bramley apple pie served with a creme anglaise, followed by Bewleys Tea or Coffee.
