Gap of Dunloe Day Tour from Killarney
Visit the Gap of Dunloe on a day tour from Killarney that begins with a bus transfer, then a walk/hike and a boat tour.
At the entrance to the gap is a famous cottage, named after a woman called Kate Kearney who died in childbirth at the age of 102! Having arrived at the cottage by coach, you'll begin the seven mile journey through the Gap to Lord Brandon's cottage by foot - or optionally by carriage or pony ride (extra charges apply). A light lunch is available there (not included in ticket price).
There is much evidence of glacial action in the Gap, in striae and ice-molded rocks. The towering summits of the Reeks, the changing shadows on the Purple and Tomies Mountains, the silence and solitude of the rugged glen – all combine to make an unforgettable impression. Boats depart from Brandon Cottage around 2:15 pm and arrive later in the afternoon at Ross Castle having come through the three lakes of Killarney. On this section of the tour you will be enchanted by the stories and folklore of the boatmen. The motorcoach will await you at Ross Castle to take you back to Killarney, arriving approximately 4:00 pm.

There is a $6.95 USD processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order. There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown at checkout includes any fuel surcharges, service charges and tax. There are no additional charges, unless otherwise specified.
Tour / Activity Policies
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
